About Iza
Izabela promotes and builds the Association’s brand. She manages Association’s activities in social media (FB, LinkedIn, Instagram) and Association’s website. Izabela coordinates the work of the Media Committee and runs the Newsletter.
She is, by nature, an energetic person who enjoys working in a busy environment. That is a reason why she has always been attracted to the events industry and has strived to learn as much as possible about their organization and promotion of event. Immediately after graduating from high school with a language profile in Krakow, she became the main point of contact in the organizer’s office for international competitions in wild water kayaking in Krakow. During her studies in London, she worked in the Meetings & Events department for the Park Plaza hotel chain. She also spent a year in sunny Andalusia taking part in the Erasmus program. She came to the Netherlands in 2014. She is currently working as a Senior Content Executive for Informa Markets. Her role is multidimensional – she is a project manager and event manager in one. Responsible for introducing and improving processes and for the communication with speakers and sponsors of scientific conferences. She also works closely with the marketing team on delivering valuable content used to engage the audience and encourage to attend the live event. In addition, she is a member of the Social Committee and together with her team, she organizes monthly events for all employees of the Amsterdam office (150 people). She earned a BA in Tourism Management in London, completed one-year postgraduate business studies at WSE in Krakow and a PRINCE2 course in project management. Recently, she has become interested in online marketing and website optimization, and to learn more, she follows online courses and talks to practitioners.
Outside of work, she loves going on weekend trips to other cities in Europe. She also likes to spend time with friends over a nice dinner. Sport has always been important to her, she enjoys swimming, cycling, back horse-riding and boxing.
