The past shapes more than our memories. It can also shape the way we lead.
Every woman brings her own story into her professional and personal life. Childhood experiences, family histories, cultural backgrounds, and the expectations placed upon us can influence how we respond to pressure, build trust, make decisions, and lead others.
Some of these patterns are connected to experiences passed down through generations — including collective histories of conflict, displacement, and adversity.
But what happens when we begin to recognize them?
In this three-hour interactive workshop, Dr. Lara Tcholakian invites participants to explore the connection between inherited collective trauma, personal experiences, and leadership.
Through personal reflection and small-group conversations, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the stories you carry and explore how that awareness can help you lead with greater clarity, intention, and freedom.
Understand inherited patterns — recognize how personal, family, and collective experiences influence your emotions, reactions, and leadership.
Look beyond awareness — explore why understanding a pattern does not always change it, and what deeper work can help shift emotional responses.
Recognize the expectations women carry — examine how inherited histories intersect with pressures from family, culture, and the workplace.
Move from reaction to intention — learn to notice automatic responses and make more conscious leadership choices.
Turn experience into strength — leave with a personal practice and new perspectives you can apply in your professional and personal life.
