SUMMARY:PPW Goes International – How to network across cultures despite the differences
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nPPW Goes International networking event is organized yearly. It was initiated in 2015 when PPW met professionals from Italy. The fifth edition of the event will be held on Thursday 29 August, at Stand Zuid in Amsterdam. Interesting professionals from Poland and Peru will come together to exchange their experiences, connect and inspire each other. \n\n\n\nThe world is a melting pot and we need to know how to communicate and build lasting professional relationships as we travel through it. Therefore, the topic of this year’s gathering is: How to network across cultures despite the differences.\nSome of the questions that will be addressed during the event:\n\nHow to present yourself during a networking event in a foreign country?\nHow do you adapt to the new environment and what do you change in your behaviour?\nAre there any key tools for success in learning to adjust the behaviour across the cultures in networking situations?\n\nThis is only a sneak preview of the questions that will lead to an exciting discussion!\nThis great networking opportunity is delivered to you free of charge. You can also count on free snacks provided throughout the entire evening however, the drinks are on your own account. Our summer networking event is organized in cooperation with the Alumni of The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in the Netherlands.\nThe programme of the evening:\n18.30 – 19.00 – Registration\n19.00 – 19.15 – Official opening\n19.15 – 21.00 – Networking\n21.00 – 22.00 – Drinks\nAbout the Alumni of The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in the Netherlands. \nThe Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú is a private university in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1917 with the support and approval of the Catholic Church.\nThe Alumni of PUCP is an association founded in the Netherlands in 2016 and is made of more than 50 professionals including; the lawyers, the engineers, the economists, the accountants, the researchers and the scientists. The Association organizes conferences, networking events with other organisations that bring professionals together.
